This year, based on several months of communication and consultation between both parties, customers ordered two Model DW1-31 tire-type single-arm tunneling drill jumbos from our company. The mining means is below the horizontal level. The lead zinc core has a main inclined tunnel of 4.5m(length)×5m(width)×4.5m (height). The excavating lane has the same size. The section area is about 20-22m2. The gradient of the main inclined lane is 12-15°. The radius of the inner turning circle is 2800mm. The depth of blast hole is 3200-3300mm. According to different excavating means, the depths of blast holes are different. The working voltage is 380v. The floating scope is 350v-420v. The largest and the smallest working temperature is -15℃-40℃. This core is sulfide lead zinc core. The core has a very high content of silica (about 60-70% silica content). The rock has a very high hardness of more than 100Mpa. The ore here has a high hardness and a poor bore-ability. Boring a row of holes at the hardest silicon-containing ore layer would consume more than one drill. The difficulty of boring can be imagined. Whether continuous and effective rock drilling can be carried out under such a mine condition is the strictest test to various comprehensive performance of the drill jumbo. From October, Siton Model DW1-31 Tunneling Jumbo received the hardest challenge at this mine.
